System Overview

　　Intelligent network is a type of network frame system capable of generating and realizing various value-added services in a way that is fast, convenient, flexible, economic and efficient. China Intelligent Network (CIN) is a world-class system developed independently by CINtel Company based on the former state key 863 R&D project. The system was awarded the second prize in 1998 by the Headquarters of the General Staff and was recognized by Shanghai Municipal Government as an outstanding project for its achievement in transforming high-tech achievement into practical application in the same year. With a strong capability in platform transition, CIN is intended for the provision of value-added services for all existing communication networks, including public switched telephone network (PSTN), public switched packet digital network (PSPDN), narrowband integrated service digital network (N-ISDN) and broadband integrated service digital network (B-ISDN) as well as mobile communication networks (e.g. GSM network and CDMA network) and IP network. Moreover, the system is able to transform to 3G network and next generation network (NGN) via system upgrading.
